I am here to tell you that you are not alone in your suffering. If you allow me, I will do my best to help you.
It is my goal as a montreal therapist to help you transcend difficult life experiences and emotional suffering and regain a sense of ease, peace, emotional balance, and well-being in your daily life despite all stressors and life events. I work with individuals and groups from a mindful, accepting, and compassionate experiential approach. I am specifically interested working with individuals suffering from emotional pain from childhood abuse or neglect; teens and adults with emotional suffering from current abuse or neglect; Borderline Personality Disorder; and self-harming and/or suicidal behaviours.
I work with adolescents and adults. I work from a clinic based in Montreal, as a montreal therapist, I am fluent in English and French. I have been trained at both Concordia University and the University of Montreal, I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology and I am pursuing a postdoctoral research in social psychology at Harvard University. In therapy, I adopt a friendly, curious, open, non-judgmental, compassionate, and focused-in-the-present attitude. I am interested in all psychological problems and emotional suffering, in particular the most complex ones.

Many common problems like depression, anxiety and low self-esteem can be persitent and recurrent. During times of stress, long-standing symptoms can worsen and begin to feel overwhelming and unmanageable, and you may find that your old solutions no longer work.
