His therapy specializing in pelvic health and wellness

”I want to take a moment to really promote this wonderful physical therapist, Sabina! Our daughter has struggled heavily with encopresis and constipation, also resulting in anxiety from both her and us as parents. With three treatments, Jordyn has gained a level of control and self-confidence that we have never seen before! If your child has issues with incontinence with bowel and/or bladder, frequent accidents, or even difficulty understanding how their body works, please consider this!!!! She has a passion for this area of care, and is VERY knowledgeable and patient! I would love to talk to you about it further if you have questions!”

Milwaukee’s Premier Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Pelvic Health & Wellness was built with you in mind. We pride ourselves in quality and compassionate care for women, men, children, people of all ages and genders who are experiencing pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, prolapse, interstitial cystitis, pain during sex, infertility, and pregnancy/prenatal and postpartum concerns. In addition to our pelvic floor physical therapy services, we also offer Mercier therapy, a holistic fertility program.

We understand that being ready to talk about and address your pelvic floor wellness concerns comes from a place of strength. Our pelvic floor PT’s are here to support and encourage you on your journey back to pelvic health and wellness.

Our pelvic wellness center is located in Whitefish Bay, WI, about 6 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. We serve patients from the entire Milwaukee Metro area and its surrounding communities such as the Milwaukee Eastside and Northshore neighborhoods (Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, Bayside, River Hills and Glendale), Mequon, Brown Deer, Cedarburg, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Wauwatosa and Bay View.

The Pelvic Floor

The Pelvic floor muscles are the layer of muscles that stretch from the tailbone in the back, to the pubic bone in the front. These muscles support the pelvic organs. They work with the deep abdominal muscles, back, and diaphragm to support the spine and regulate pressure inside the abdomen.

Pelvic floor dysfunction can result in symptoms such as:

  • Urinary urgency, frequency, hesitancy, stopping and starting of urine stream, painful urination, or incomplete emptying

  • Constipation, straining, pain with bowel movements

  • Unexplained pain in the low back, pelvic region, genital area, or rectum

  • Pain during or after intercourse, orgasm, or sexual stimulation

  • Uncoordinated muscle contractions causing the pelvic floor muscles to spasm

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, you may benefit from Pelvic Floor Therapy.

We provide one-on-one care to our patients with our expert pelvic health physical therapists for one hour (or longer) sessions. We utilize many different hands-on (manual therapy) interventions to treat the root cause of your symptoms allowing you to return to living life to the fullest. We focus on things both inside the pelvis and outside the pelvis. We are very holistic in our treatment and provide you with individualized care. Each session builds on another, and you are never doing the same thing. You are never working with multiple therapist, techs or aids. Always with a provider. And you are never off on your own doing exercises in a corner. Much different than most ‘traditional’ physical therapy!

We are physical therapists, orthopedic physical therapists and pelvic floor physical therapists.
Honestly, we couldn’t get enough and just kept learning knowing we were missing an essential part: THE PELVIS! We are the cream of the crop when it comes to physical therapy because we can literally treat the entire body! How cool is that?

We are the go-to experts on before, during, after pregnancy and beyond!

The other amazing thing about our treatment philosophy is that we continue with optimal health and wellness. Meaning, rather than what “typical physical therapy” does, stopping once your symptoms are gone or you are 80% better. We continue on into full resolution of symptoms, getting to the root cause and underlying WHY behind your symptoms, build resiliency in your system, and then reach for new goals. Our treatment philosophy allows us to work into performance and optimizing both inside and outside of the pelvic floor, so you can obtain things that you have never thought possible!

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a medical professional more knowledgeable and personable than Jenna. After years of pelvic pain, she figured out that I had vulvodynia, after just a few sessions. I eventually had surgery to correct it, and Jenna was with me every step of the way. She continues to treat my pelvic floor muscle dysfunction post surgery. Now that I’m pregnant, she is going to help me learn to push correctly, and to stretch so that I’m less likely to tear during delivery! I don’t know where I would be without her. Ever woman with a pelvic floor problem needs someone like Jenna.”
