Massage Therapy is a widely accepted pain management and wellness solution within the healthcare community. It’s why a licensed Massage Therapist is such an in-demand profession. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in injury recovery, pain management, and overall wellness as well as provide clients with much needed stress relief and relaxation procedures. As more healthcare providers understand the benefits of massage, demand will increase as these services become an even bigger part of various patient treatment plans.

The Concept
You are connected to an approved massage school, community college, or university in your area that offers hybrid options (online + hands-on training). Through this hybrid program, in as little as six months (depending on state requirements), you can be ready to take your boards and get started. This innovative new program can even be completed part time with much of the classroom learning and training completed online (where state approved).
Here’s the greatest part…
First, depending on your state, there are various grants available to help reduce your tuition, including the MyCAA military spouse scholarship (where approved). Then, your local Hand & Stone will pay up to $5,500 in scholarships (once you graduate and if you elect to stay on with Hand & Stone as a Massage Therapist upon graduation and successful licensure). With grants and the scholarship, you pay a fraction of the normal cost of massage school.
Our school partners have great financing plans available with as little as $500 down and no payments until you are licensed, working and earning at least $30,000.*
Finally, consider the average starting Massage Therapist at Hand & Stone makes between makes $45-$50 per service.* (This is based on current rates for starting Massage Therapists for the East Windsor, NJ location.) It is my pleasure and honor to introduce you to Touchpoints at Chestnut! Our care center offers a variety of clinical programs to meet your individual needs and is proud to be a Five Star rated, US News and World Report Best Nursing Home for three years in a row (2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21). We are a 60 bed facility that reflects a quaint Victorian bed-and-breakfast style home. Our rehabilitation unit includes individual HD televisions, private phones, recessed closets, and recently re-done floors.
We offer the Touchpoints Therapy Program, which is available to those who are recovering from an orthopedic procedure, or in need of cardiac recovery, pulmonary rehab, general medical or other post surgical care, wound care, intravenous (IV) therapy, pain management and more. Touchpoints’ Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists provide services seven days a week in our recently renovated Rehabilitation Gym.
Touchpoints at Chestnut is part of the Saint Francis Hospital – Trinity Health of New England Network a program partner of Hartford HealthCare Integrated Care Network and partners with many community and hospital networks to provide consistent care from your hospital stay until the time you are discharged home.
